Summer dance intensive is a dance camp for dancers of any level that are interested in bettering their skills, technique, and looking to learn new styles and tricks! This year's intensive will include training in the styles of; hip hop, Pom, jazz, ballet, contemporary, majorette, and salsa/bachata. We have a diverse panel of instructors and welcome ALL students of all genders and ethnicities. This is a perfect opportunity for any dancer interested in joining the dance team, majorettes, or any dance club available at Jones. We also welcome any high school student in Illinois to participate and take a few new game day routines back to your home schools. We hope to see new and old faces ready to dance the week away! (Camp will include a lunch break + camp t-shirt)

Coach Bio:
Jazmyne Davis

I am the head coach and choreographer of JCP dance team in my 3rd competitive season! Outside of JCP I am the dance director of Bandwith Chicago and have choreographed for sets in Lollapolloza, Arts in the dance parade, as well as performance tours in the west coast region.

I graduated in 2019 from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in advanced management and a minor in dance. I’ve been dancing for 16 years in various styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, Pom, West African, and hip hop.

My goal as a choreographer and coach is to build confidence while making sure that each dancer receives excellent training and encouragement.
